Stress is the number one struggle in personal and business success. We all work from patterns that keep us inside the comfort zone, allowing fears, phobias and procrastination to lead us around. Even “workaholics” are reacting to stress — using work as their comfort zone to avoid looking inside at what they are avoiding.
A well balanced routine, no matter how loosely defined, that allows the necessary reflections to see where you want to change is key to gaining control instead of running for control.
As an Executive Wellness Coach, this is my special field. I work with an international clientele over Skype to help you teach your Brain and Immune System how to be Stress Resistant to certain perceptions and limiting beliefs that hold you back, and literally holds illness in.
Best tip? Look back over your day. Pick out a couple of things that went really well and FEEL how good it is that it happened (even if it was that you just got out of bed and started the day! Thinking small is not a bad thing. Feeling good is a HUGE thing!)
Then, look at a couple of things that went poorly according to your expectations. REWRITE them in your mind, SEE and HEAR them as if they went even better than you wanted, and FEEL those good feelings. Set your intention for the next day that they will all go accordingly to the re-written script and FEEL that.
Thoughts trigger feelings. Feelings projected forward create perception/expectation. Expectation that feels good creates motivation. Perception in action manifests results. Feel good before it happens, allow it to happen, and celebrate that it happened.
Joy!
